Amber of Chicago, IL, is a Certified Personal Trainer, Yoga instructor and fitness activist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and a Master of Science from Loyola University Chicago. Formerly a Human Resources professional with Fortune 500 companies, Amber transitioned into a career of fitness and began writing a fitness blog called ‘You Don’t Know Fit.’ It embodies her passion and who she really is. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Amber is most proud of her family, including one biological child, three bonus kids and her boyfriend who keeps her going and inspires her every day.

Their purpose is to help change the culture towards health and fitness in the African-American community, showcase those who are making an impact, and promote healthier living. They also aim to serve as a platform for African-American fitness and health professionals and enthusiasts who are otherwise overlooked in traditional fitness media.
