Here’s a quick, healthy recipe that tastes awesome! Even my kids approve of this one which says a lot because they tend to be very picky. This is my remixed version of Martha Stewart’s Avocado-Banana Smoothie.

Here’s what you’ll need:
1 avocado
1 banana
1 1/2 cups of orange juice
1/2 cup plain non fat Greek yogurt
1 TBSP honey
Ice (or you can just sit in the freezer for 15 minutes to let it chill)
Mix all of the ingredients in a blender.

This recipe yields about three cups at roughly 208 calories each. It’s great for replacing a meal (usually breakfast for me) because it’s very filling. I usually just drink two cups and split the rest with the kids.

Normally I use fresh squeezed OJ but today I took the easy way out and used store bought OJ. #dontjudgeme I used the Simply Orange Juice with Mango because it was on sale and I’m cheap frugal and I thought it would add some extra flavor but you can use any kind of OJ. Just be mindful of the calorie count in whatever you choose.
