Deviled eggs are an entertaining favorite, but are often filled with extra fat and calories. We took away everything fancy and stripped this snack down to the basics – hard-boiled egg whites and mashed avocado – that’s it!
3 large eggs, boiled
½ medium-sized avocado, mashed
(we added garlic powder, pepper and a pinch of sea salt)
Cut your boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks. (You can keep the yolks if you want; we decided to remove them since we’re already getting the healthy fat from the avocado)
Spoon mashed avocado into eggs, distributing evenly.
