Exercise Tip – Get The Most Out of Your Rep

Get the most out of your rep. The lowering phase (eccentric), helps with muscle recovery and actually produces greater total strength and lean muscle gains, when compared to the push/pull phase (concentric). Try lowering the weight slowly for 3 to 4 seconds during the eccentric phase of each rep.
