Black Fitness Today contributor Ryen Watkins has a recipe for one of her favorite sweet treats that tastes great, is super easy to make and of course, is a much healthier option!
– 1 ½ cup of oats
– 2 ripe bananas
– ½ cup of chocolate chips
– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
– 1 tablespoon of unsweetened coconut flakes
Preheat oven to 350°.
– Start with mashing two peeled bananas in a bowl
– Add oats, cinnamon, chocolate chips and coconut flakes and mix together.
– Use a nonstick cookie sheet and form about 1” balls from the mixture.
– Bake for 15 minutes.
Be creative: Add almonds, pecans, raisins, dried cranberries or your favorite fruit to truly make it your own. Share your creativity!
