When on the field, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is amongst the NFL’s elite. A 2013 First-Team All-Pro, Gordon led the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards and topped the season with a selection to the Pro Bowl. However, due to multiple setbacks with the NFL’s drug policy, the all-pro receiver has spent more time away from the field than on it. To say that Gordon is on “thin ice” is an understatement and he knows it – well all know it. More importantly, he also knows there can be no more excuses come August 1, 2016, which is the earliest he can apply for reinstatement to the NFL.
It appears Gordon is focused on taking what is possibly his last opportunity seriously in getting back on the gridiron and returning to true ‘Flash Gordon’ form as he recently visited Planet Beach West Los Angeles, an automated day spa offering services like red light therapy, Hot Box Detox saunas, full body hydration and more.
How Planet Beach Is Helping Gordon Prepare for Potential Return to NFL:
During his visit at Planet Beach West Los Angeles, Gordon began his afternoon of rejuvenation when he stepped into the Hot Box Detox, an infrared sauna, and performed 30 minutes of yoga poses led by an on-screen virtual instructor. Afterward, he entered the red light therapy standup booth, followed by a hydro-derma fusion treatment. Gordon tweeted a photo that it’s “key for recovery and blood circulation.”
“I want to do the red light therapy booth and Hot Box Detox sauna with yoga,” Gordon was overheard saying. “I’ve done just about every type of workout and recovery. But I’ve never seen anything as unique as what Planet Beach West LA has.” Prior to leaving his R&R session at Planet Beach West Los Angeles, Gordon spoke with an employee to set up visits to the automated spa on multiple Sundays – the day of the week it’s closed to the public for private events and VIPs only!
