Juicing is something that’s wonderful to add to your daily health regimen, but some may find the prep work to be a bit overwhelming. I suggest starting out simple. Pick a daily juice for the week that contains 2-4 ingredients at the most. This keeps preparation easy and keeps costs down. If you’re not sure where to start, a few great beginner combos include carrot/apple, carrot/spinach/apple, kale/pineapple, kale/cucumber/lemon/celery/spinach and carrot/wp-content/apple/ginger.
What helps me is prepping 3-4 juice kits that contain a certain set of ingredients that are cleaned and ready to go. This way, all I have to do is pull out the juicer and juice! The bags shown in the photo contain my green juice for the week, but your bags can include whatever you like! For example, you can make it as simple as a carrot/spinach kit that contains 10 carrots and 3 cups of spinach, but just as long as they’re prepped in advance, this encourages you to juice daily without it being overwhelming.
As I always say, the more fresh juice you get the better, but don’t think you have to drink gallons a day to get any benefits. Just one juice daily boosts your fruit and vegetable intake and blasts your body with essential nutrients and beneficial phytochemicals. The only juice we should be drinking is the fresh, real stuff and the more you do it, the more you’ll crave. The cool thing is, that’s the best kind of craving to have because it brings nothing but love to you and the fam! Cheers!
