In case you’re not familiar, #RichPaul, agent to #LebronJames, #AnthonyDavis, #DraymondGreen and more, is one of the most smart, savvy and powerful agents in sports. And the #NCAA sure doesn’t like it. So they’ve implemented changes - they’ve informed agents of a new certification process that moving forward, agents must have a bachelor’s degree, have been certified by the NBPA for three years, and must pass an in-person exam at NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis before they can start representing student athletes interested in going to the NBA. A degree is one thing Rich Paul doesn’t have (and who cares?!) and it will restrict him and others AND forfeit players’ eligibility to return to college if they establish relationships with non-requirement-meeting agents. It appears the #NCAA wants tighter control of its players. What do you think? 51 8
